Heart of Headland Hosts First Under the Oaks

UTO

Oddly Enough performs in the Gazebo on the Square in Downtown Headland

Headland's Downtown Revitalization group, Heart of Headland, hosted its first of six outdoor music events in the Square on April 26, 2019. Oddly Enough performed from 6-9PM for over 1000 guests who attended the free event. Event goers were able to enjoy food from local restaurants and area food vendors. Businesses and shops had extended hours for the event. K Time had specialty shirts for sale and is giving back 10% of the proceeds to the Heart of Headland, which has applied for 501(c)3 non-profit status.

Heart of Headland is also is the process of applying for the Main Street city designation status. Headland is currently a Network Community with Main Street. Main Street is an economic development organization that focuses on the rejuvenation of downtown areas. Main Street can provide Headland with the consultation and services needed to grow and improve the quality of life for current and future residents. You can learn more at http://www.mainstreetalabama.org/index.php or join the Heart of Headland as a volunteer. Contact the Heart of Headland at facebook.com/heartofheadland.
